About the Department

The Department was started in the year 2008 with the blessings of his holiness Dr.Rajendra Mahaswamiji and his holiness Shree Shree Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji.

With growing demand for Computer and IT/ ICT Related Domain Skills the Department wishes to :

  1. Generate human resources for the ICT industry, particularly the students with non-engineering background.

  2. To facilitate students to take up Research and Teaching in the area of Computer Science.

Department of Computer Science is an active department dedicated towards quality teaching and creative research. In order to motivate the students to be good academicians, technocrats, researchers the department conducts number of activities.

Scheme / Credit Matrix The programme follows Choice Based Credit System(CBCS) with Cumulative Grade Points Average(CGPA). The courses offered under this programme are designated as Hard Core(HC) and Soft Core(SC).
  1.  A course designated as Hard Core for a particular Program of Study must invariably be completed by the student to receive the degree in that program. The Hard Core Course cannot be substituted by any other course.
  2.  A student needs to earn certain number of minimum credits by successfully completing Soft-core courses to receive the degree
