About the Library

The library is the heart of the institution and plays a very important role in all academic activities. Keeping in view the aims and objectives of the college (institution), the library has been well organized & constantly improvised by staff under the guidance of the library council.

The library has adopted an open access system to facilitate readers to have easy access to the library resources, has also established links with other important libraries at regional level, in order to provide inter –library access for the benefit of students and teachers of the college. And also to assist the students and research scholars is locating literature and computerized catalogue have been introduced.

• To make the JSS College Library and Information Centre as national class learning centre and provide knowledge based services to the user community. A Library environs being a dynamic hub for knowledge pertaining.

* Be at the forefront in the development of integrated information literacy  programs for lifelong learning, creativity and ongoing professional development.

* To impart quality learning and training to students and faculties.

*To adopt newer and innovative technologies in processing and dissemination of information 

Objectives
