Education empowers individuals with learning, creativity, awareness about society, science, technology and their applications. Education inculcates good human values. Only education can help the younger generation to become the responsible citizens of this nation.

The Department of UG-Physics was established in the year 1964. The Department has two spacious laboratories for mechanical and electronics experiments along with two dark rooms for optics experiments. Both laboratories are well furnished and well equipped with scientific instruments. Recently our laboratories have been upgraded using CPE grants. The Department has experienced and dedicated faculty members. Two faculty members have PhD’s. The Department has implemented CBCS (Choice based credit system) scheme as per UGC regulations. Our department has two computers with internet connection and department library with a collection of more than 50 books from Pioneer authors in physics.  Physical science students of our college have been placed in various sectors
